#Kolkata: Unified Payment Interface or UPI is becoming the primary mode of money transfer for all small or large transactions. From buying vegetables from roadside vendors, paying electricity bills to booking travel tickets, UPI has literally taken the place of cash and cards.
UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm not only offer hassle-free money transfers but are also secure and offer other features like tracking monthly payments. But these traditional apps drop customers at the last minute due to server lag or customers unable to pay to update their apps. Also it is not possible to do this when the customer’s mobile data is exhausted.
At that point another app can be used, through which customers can initiate UPI payments and that too without downloading that app. Because the app in question is already installed on the customer’s mobile phone. That is WhatsApp UPI transfer called WhatsApp Payments.
