It is alleged that Asha workers are being obstructed at several places while verifying the list of house recipients under the housing scheme. However, the verification of the list has created tension in the Gram Panchayat areas of several districts of the state. The state government has decided to prepare a list of beneficiaries by house-to-house verification of the names of those enrolled in the Abas Plus database. The state has already taken a strict stance on the Pradhan Mantri Grameen Awas Yojana. No impediment shall be created in surveying the list of beneficiaries under Gramin Awas Yojana.
