CAB has received permission from the state government to allow 70% attendance for next Sunday’s match. A 30% drop in attendance has resulted in a huge drop in tickets. Despite the reduction in the number of seats, CAB’s life membership and clubs’ quota tickets have not decreased. 100% quota tickets have to be distributed there. As a result, there are no tickets for the general audience.

A small number of tickets are on sale online, but they are gone in no time. CAB officials are facing the biggest problem with the provision of club house tickets. The club house has a total of 3200 seats with middle and upper tiers. It has reduced to 2100 seats due to 70% attendance. CAB officials are struggling to fill the number of tickets for various quotas, including advertisers, with fewer seats to sell.
According to sources, they approached Navanna after not being able to solve the problem of ticket distribution. The owners have applied to allow 100% visitor entry from 70% to club house only. CAB President Abhishek Dalmia and Secretary Snehashis Gangopadhyay went to Nabanna on Tuesday and held a meeting with the CS. It is reported that no official consent has been given yet, although assurances have been given to look into the matter.
CAB officials are hopeful that 100% spectator entry into the club house will be able to meet some of the demand for tickets. Meanwhile, CAB has made a bunch of plans around the match next Sunday. A laser light show will be held at Eden’s main gate and four blocks inside the grounds. The same people who lit the Burj Khalifa pandal during the Durg Puja at Sribhoomi will be in charge of lighting the India-New Zealand T20 match.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee is being invited as the chief guest for the India-New Zealand T20 match next Sunday. Several former cricketers are being invited. Already gallery repair and painting work is complete. After three chairs in the auditorium, one seat is being vacated where no one can sit. The seat will be marked with a cross.

Meanwhile, the CAB is arranging a special green corridor to allow the cricketers of the two teams inside the bio-security zone to enter the Eden from the hotel. No person can touch the cricketers.
