Sheath dress and mini outfits… Laeticia Hallyday, Jade and Joy as femme fatales to launch the Johnny exhibition

December 19 is a big day for the Hallyday clan: at Brussels Expo, Laeticia, Joy and Jade launched the exhibition dedicated to the rock legend, in carefully chosen outfits.

This is the other event that Laeticia was preparing for this end of the year. After the documentary “Johnny by Laeticia”, the owner’s widow has also created an extraordinary retrospective of the artist’s career, with exceptional pieces, including guitars, stage costumes, motorcycles… occassion, Laeticia was of course surrounded by her two daughters, Jade and Joy, on their 31.

Black sheath dress, frilly strapless mini dress and sparkly dress, from above Johnny Hallyday could only admire his wife and his two “little” daughters! Laeticia Hallyday, Jade et Joy dazzled visitors during the launch of the exhibition-event created to measure by Laeticia with the help of the Tempora agency, specialized in large-scale exhibitions, which opened its doors in Brussels.

The two daughters of Laeticia did not hide their pride in the face of the gigantic exhibition produced with so many unique moments, which they themselves were able to share with their father, but also his whole story, in the good and the most difficult moments of her life. On their Instagram account they indeed wrote how special this day was for her. “Special outfit for a special night” thus wrote Joy, while Jade wrote “Proud of you mum”. An immersion in the heart, the head and the life of Johnny Hallyday, which is held until January 2024 at Brussels Expo, before placing its treasures in Paris.

Belgium, this sounds obvious to true fans of Johnny who know the beginning of the artist’s life, as Laeticia Hallyday explained on the set of Quelle Epoque a few days ago “It’s a tribute to the roots he always sought to fill after his father’s abandonment.” Johnny Hallyday’s father, Léon Smet, was indeed born in Schaerbeek, Belgium, where he spent a large part of his life and where he also died in 1989. Abandoned barely a year after his birth, the artist will be all his life in search of his Belgian origins where he also has many fans. And it is mainly to them that the exhibition is addressed, Laeticia having accomplished “its duty to bring the work to life so that it continues to accompany its millions of fans, and new generations.”

Laeticia very supported and surrounded for this launch

Welcomed by Harley-Davidson bikers at the entrance to the exhibition, Laeticia Hallyday was, in addition to her daughters, surrounded and supported by artist friends but also by her companion, Jalil Jaspert. Thus Jean-Claude Camus, Marie Poniatowski, Valérie Cassetto had traveled to Brussels to be alongside Laeticia Hallyday on this important day. On more than 2000 m2 are spread the personal memories of the artist, his collections, as well as all of his discography, until his death in 2017 at the age of 74. A life entirely focused on music and rock, as evidenced by the amazing reconstruction of his career.
