This primary test is one of the most important exams in the state before the panchayat polls. In that case, it is believed that the chief secretary can give multiple instructions to the districts regarding the examination from this meeting. On the other hand, the primary education board is in favor of shutting down the internet during the examination period. A special application has been made to the Home Secretary in the state by the Board of Primary Education in this regard. It is believed that there is a possibility of discussing this matter in tomorrow’s meeting.

According to the sources, it is said in that application that the internet should be shut down during the examination. The Home Secretary, however, was not asked by the board to shut down the internet in the area adjacent to each examination center. It has been said to shut down the internet only in sensitive areas. According to sources, the Primary Education Board has already started preparing the list of examination centers related to that sensitive area.

A total of 1,453 examination centers in the state will conduct the primary test. 6,90,931 candidates across the state will appear in the primary TET examination. Keeping in mind the security of the examination center, the board has asked the state home secretary to shut down the internet, according to sources. Earlier, internet was also shut down during Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations.

But recently, the state withdrew its decision to shut down the internet on the order of the High Court. However, the internet was not closed this year in the higher secondary examination. In that case, however, the board’s argument is that internet will not be shut down in every exam center. It is thought to shut down the internet only in sensitive areas.

However, there was no response from Primary Education Board President Gautam Pal. Already, 16-point guidelines have been sent to the districts by the State School Education Department for the smooth conduct of primary education. In that guideline, section 144 has been mentioned in the area adjacent to the examination center. All in all, the Board of Primary Education is particularly cautious about the December 11 exam.
