Every passing year leaves not only the memories of the whole year but also leaves some effects on our lives. 2022 is also about to come to an end and the personalities who were born in it will be remembered forever.

Famous personalities who passed away this year include journalists, actors, social activists, politicians and religious figures, and others to take a look at.

Arshad Sharif:

Arshad Sharif, a senior journalist and anchor associated with ARY News, was shot dead in Kenya’s capital Nairobi on October 23 while he was traveling in a car with a driver on a deserted road.

After leaving ARY News, Arshad Sharif left for Dubai from Peshawar Airport where he spent some time, later he went to Kenya where he was martyred. The investigation into his murder is ongoing.

Ismail Tara:

Pakistan’s famous comedian Ismail Tara also left his fans this year at the age of 73. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi due to kidney disease and died on November 24.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain:

Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain needs no introduction. He was a well-known Pakistani television personality, anchor person and game show host. On the morning of June 9, he was found dead at his residence.

When the employee went to the room, Aamir Liaqat Hussain was lying on the bed in a coma. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

Due to the generator running, smoke was rising from his room and he probably died of suffocation. His family decided not to conduct an autopsy, which could not determine the cause of death.

Bilqis Edhi:

On April 15 this year, the well-known social and welfare worker of the country, Bilqis Bano Edhi, passed away at the age of 74. She was the widow of eminent social leader Abdul Sattar Edhi who supported her husband in building the ‘Edhi Foundation’.

In recognition of his services, he was awarded the ‘Hilal Imtiaz’ by the government of Pakistan, while the Indian government also gave him the ‘Mother Teresa Award’ in 2015.

Rehman Malik:

People’s Party central leader and former interior minister Rehman Malik passed away on February 23 at the age of 70. His lungs were affected due to corona virus.

Rehman Malik held the post of Federal Interior Minister for the longest time in the history of Pakistan. He was one of the trusted associates of Benazir Bhutto.

He loved the art of being in the media. During his reign, he used to address the media several times a day. He also authored several books including ‘Modi War Doctrine’, ‘Daesh’ and ‘Top 100 Investigations’.

Tony Naveed Rashid:

On November 23, well-known television host and actor Tony Naveed Rasheed passed away due to stomach ailment in Lahore. He started his career as a cultural reporter in an English daily.

In 2006, Nadia Khan became famous as a serious film critic for a segment dedicated to Pakistani cinema on Nadia Khan’s show ‘Malai Maar Ke’.

Mufti Rafi Usmani:

This year, the Grand Mufti of Pakistan Maulana Mufti Muhammad Rafi Usmani also passed away after a long illness. He was the President of Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi and the Patron-in-Chief of Al-Madaris al-Arabiya Federation. He was the elder brother of the renowned religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani.

Ms. Belqis:

On December 21, the well-known singer of the past Balqis Khanum passed away due to Reza Elahi. He has created the magic of his voice in many famous songs of the film and music industry, including ‘Fasilay Esee Bhi Hoonge’, ‘Kuch Din To Busu Meri Aayi Mein’, ‘Wah To Khushbo Hai’, ‘Anukha Ladla’ and others. are

Eastern Kiani:

Pakistan’s famous singer and actress Hadiqa Kayani’s mother Khawar Kayani also left us. He died on the evening of October 15. The deceased wrote the lyrics of the famous song ‘Bohe Bariyan’ in the voice of her daughter.

Those familiar with Khawar Kayani are well aware of his grace, dignity and strength. Besides being a strong and independent mother, she was the principal of a government girls’ school and a noted poet.

Neyra Noor, who was called ‘Bulbal Pakistan’, passed away at the age of 72 on August 20 this year after a long illness. He was awarded ‘Pride of Performance’, ‘Nagar’ and many other awards in recognition of artistic services. In 2005, he was awarded the ‘Presidential Medal for Excellence’ by the Government of Pakistan.

Neyra Noor warmed the hearts of the audience in the songs and also showed her singing ability in the playback singing. He stopped singing years ago, but his songs and ghazals have remained popular and well-known in all eras and will continue to be so.

Masood Akhtar:

Masood Akhtar is considered as one of the famous actors of Pakistan. He lost his life on March 5 after battling cancer.

Born on September 5, 1940 in Sahiwal, Masood Akhtar started his artistic career in the 60s and soon became one of the famous stage actors. He contributed immensely to the ‘art of acting’ by acting in several films, TV dramas and theater productions.

The Government of Pakistan awarded him the Presidential Medal for Excellence on 14 August 2005.

Jamshed Zafar:

Renowned Pakistani filmmaker Jamshed Zafar passed away on June 26. Jamshed Zafar has produced several famous films including ‘Koon Banega Crorepati’, ‘Dako’, ‘Dupta Jal Raha Hai’ and others. He was also the Vice Chairman of the Film Producers Association.
