Charlize Theron answers when she will return to play Clea in Marvel movies and her answer may end up discouraging fans of the character.

In the comics, Clea is Dormammu’s niece and Doctor Strange’s wife, in addition to being the Sorcerer Supreme of the Dark Dimension (and also of Earth for a while), being a very powerful sorceress, even more than her own husband.
And in a conversation with journalist Josh Horowitz, during the press tour of Fast and Furious 10who questioned her about her future at Marvel, Charlize Theron claimed not to know anything and that she even received a call from Marvel to return in the role:
No, I didn’t receive any calls. I didn’t get one… Is that bad? This is bad? This is bad? No, I’m not lying… I didn’t get any calls. This is bad?
A few months ago, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress responded to a similar question by saying that she doesn’t know exactly what’s next, but that she had some idea what it could be:
I think I know. I mean, unless… I’m sure they might change their minds depending on what I say on this show.
But when it comes to describing her character, the star said that “I don’t really know who she is yet, but I will”:
I play Clea and um… let’s just say I have some work to do… I don’t know who she is yet, but I will.
The future of Clea and Doctor Strange should only be explored in a very possible way. Doctor Strange 3taking into account the hook of the post-credits scene, however, more details (official and unofficial) are still awaited so that we have a better idea of what to expect for the future.
