On the other hand, the primary education board is in favor of shutting down the internet during the examination period after secondary, higher secondary and primary schools. In this regard, a special request has been made to the Home Secretary in the state by the Board of Primary Education. It is believed that there is a possibility of discussing this matter in tomorrow’s meeting.

According to the sources, in that application it has been said to shut down the internet during the examination. The Home Secretary, however, was not asked by the Board to shut down the Internet in the area adjacent to each examination center. It has been said to shut down the internet only in sensitive areas. According to sources, the Primary Education Board has already started preparing the list of examination centers related to that sensitive area.

The primary test will be conducted at a total of 1453 examination centers in the state. 6 lakh 90 thousand 931 candidates across the state will take the primary TET exam. Keeping in mind the security of the examination center, the board has asked the state home secretary to shut down the internet, according to sources. Earlier, internet was also shut down during Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations. But recently, the state withdrew its decision to shut down the internet on the order of the High Court. However, the internet was not closed this year in the higher secondary examination.

In that case, however, the board’s argument is that internet will not be shut down in every exam center. It is thought to shut down the internet only in sensitive areas. However, there was no response from Gautam Pal, president of the Primary Education Board. Already, 16-point guidelines have been sent to the districts by the State School Education Department for the smooth conduct of primary education. In that guideline, section 144 has been mentioned in the area adjacent to the examination center. All in all, the Board of Primary Education is especially cautious about the examination on December 11.
